​​Qualified teachers

All of our tutors are qualified teachers who have experience in mainstream schools. All GCSE and A Level tutors have experience teaching these qualifications. Tutors will be experienced in offering support, feedback and marking exam questions.

Both Online and In Person Sessions

We find many students do much better when offered face to face support which is why all our tutors can offer in person sessions. For those looking for a more affordable option, our online sessions can be purchased for a reduced cost.

Support for SEND students

We have SEND specialist tutors who have experience working in Alternative Provision with students who have a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia. Rates and availability for these sessions can be determined by getting in touch by emailing tutoring@lighthouselearning.uk

Support for homeschooled students and post GCSE

​

We have tutors with availability during the school day for students who are homeschooled or in further education. These may be available at a reduced rate depending on tutor availability and amount of hours needed.

Exam preparation

​

We offer intensive exam preparation sessions in the run up to both GCSE and A Level exams, including during the school holidays. These can be booked as a one off, dependent on tutor availability.
